We offer free lead testing for children under the age of six and pregnant women at community events. Educational materials will be available about the dangers of lead and strategies that families can take to protect themselves. Families will also have an opportunity to learn about free in-home visits and grant funds that could help to remove lead hazards from homes.
Leadie Eddie van is a mobile lead testing unit that can travel to neighborhood events.
We offer presentations to groups of parents, community agencies or kids on the topic of the lead poisoning and hazards. These presentations are geared towards specific audiences, and include information on how our grant programs work.
Leadie Eddie puppet shows introduce kids to the idea of testing.
