Lead Safe Work Practices for Homeowners & Renters (LSWP)
Lead Safe Work Practices (LSWP) Class - Saturday, June 22nd 2013 9a-noon
Location: 1081 10th Ave SE Mpls 55414
Intended for any homeowners or renters living in pre-1978 homes, this 3-hour course includes step-by-step instruction and hands-on exercises for working lead-safe. It meets the training requirements for participants in the grant programs of Minneapolis and Hennepin County, or for those who have work orders on their homes. It is based on an EPA and National Center for Healthy Housing curriculum. Class fee is $125, but there is no charge for grant participants.

Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Renovation, Repair & Painting (RRP)
EPA Certified Renovation, Repair & Painting Initial Class - Friday, June 21st 2013 9a-6p
Location: 1081 10th Ave SE Mpls MN 55414
This class is intended for contractors, rental property owners and managers, painters, renovators, plumbers, electricians and others working in pre-1978 housing. Accredited by the EPA through the Nation Center for Healthy Housing. It meets the EPA rules that were implemented on April 22nd, 2010. The cost is $220 for the 8-hour course. no CEUs available for this class.
