	This class is intended for contractors, renovators, painters, plumbers, and electricians. Accredited by the EPA through the National Center for Healthy Housing, it meets the EPA rules that were implemented on April 22nd, 2010. It is an 8-hour course and application has been submitted to the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry for 7 hours of continuing education (Lead, no Energy) for licensed building contractors. 	The National Center for Healthy Housing designed this 2-day course for professionals working in the area of affordable housing, inspection services, community services delivery, and public health. The course strives to make the connection between health and housing and how to take a holistic approach to identifying and resolving problems which threaten the health and well being of residents. 	To be eligible for this class, a contractor must hold a lead worker or lead supervisor card, or have already taken an EPA-approved lead safe work practices class. Accredited by the EPA through the National Center for Healthy Housing, it meets the EPA rules that were implemented on April 22nd, 2010. It is a 4-hour course and costs $100.
